A325 Microsite

a325bolts

Over the next several months, Portland Bolt will be rolling out a series of new, educational websites focused on technical aspects of many common ASTM fastener specifications. These websites are intended for engineers, architects, contractors, fabricators and other construction-related companies who are looking to increase their fastener knowledge.
Salesman Anthony Porreco and Web Designer Sarah Kemp have teamed up to bring you A325bolts.com which provides in-depth, technical information about A325 bolts, one of the most common fasteners used in the construction industry. This site joins our F1554 anchor bolt site in attempting to simplify the technical aspects of these specifications.

Rock River Solar Project

rock_river2Beloit, Wisconsin

Beginning in January of 2016, Portland Bolt shipped the first of four orders of 1‑1/8” diameter F1554 Grade 55 threaded anchor rods that would be set into precast concrete forms.
The concrete blocks created from this precasting process would be used as the foundations for well over a thousand solar arrays for a 2.25-megawatt solar generation facility constructed upon a former landfill.
