Anchor bolts are a part of most buildings or structures we see, and we do not give a second thought about them. The most consideration most would give a sign like this is to be grateful it keeps standing during storms. Pictured are several stages of a large sign footing during construction and the pouring of the concrete foundation. We provided the 1-1/8 and 1-1/4” galvanized all thread anchor rods. With our in-house galvanizing capabilities and centrifuge spinning, the excess zinc is easily removed from the threads, allowing the nuts to be easily spun on and put in place. Next time you see a standing structure, remember there is a lot going on beneath the surface that Portland Bolt can provide to keep it standing.
