Moses Lake, WA, United States

As part of the construction of the new Colville Fuels Half-Sun Travel Plaza in Moses Lake, Washington, a new multi-story sign structure was constructed.  In the winter of 2017, Portland Bolt manufactured 40 high strength anchor bolts for the sign.  The 2” diameter x 3 foot long bolts were manufactured in a week and shipped to the job site.

To properly anchor the sign structure, the anchor bolts were divided into two groups.  Each group was assembled to two templates and tied into a rebar cage and buried in concrete.  Once the concrete was fully cured the base of the structure was attached and from there the structure was erected.

Since 1912 Portland Bolt has been manufacturing anchor bolts in our (now) 85,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility.  If your project calls for anchor bolts, tie rod assemblies or any other type of custom fastener, give one of our experienced estimators a call and we’ll be happy to help.
