Many Alaskans use single engine planes for transport due to the state’s massive land size, difficult terrain, and sparse road network. Some plane owners store their aircrafts in small hangars which protect their planes from the elements. Portland Bolt provided the anchor bolts for one such hangar that was erected in the fall of 2016. The hangar was engineered to use F1554 Grade 36 headed anchor bolts to fasten the steel structure to the concrete foundation.
