In 2018, the Minoterie du Congo S.A. (Minoco) production facility in the Congo began a major project to modernize and expand. It will bring the plant’s capacity to 700 tons of wheat grinding per day, 1000 tons of wheat milling per day, and producing 750 tons of flour per day.
The project required custom manufactured galvanized anchor bolts. The company chose Portland Bolt to provide the bolts due to our reliability, on time shipping, excellent quality, and previous performance. They requested we ship in stamped wooden export boxes with lids which we stock. We manufacture anchor bolts in our 140,000 square foot manufacturing facility. We also have a 12 foot long hot-dip galvanizing line. This project required over 5,000 pounds of custom galvanized anchor bolts.
