Bend, OR, United States

Over the course of the winter and spring of 2017 the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department built a new steel boardwalk along the Deschutes River trail in Tumalo State Park.  The new boardwalk provides increased safety and access to the beautiful trail.  As with any project, this one had its own unique challenges.  The boardwalk was to be built over natural boulders along the side of the Deschutes River, which meant that anchoring the steel structure would prove to be difficult.  Portland Bolt was called upon to provide fully threaded anchor rods and tie rod assemblies to provide anchorage and A325 structural bolts to secure the steel beams.  While Central Oregon is considered a generally dry place, the immediate proximity to water required that all of the materials on the project be hot-dip galvanized, something we were able to do with our in-house hot-dip galvanizing line.

Should your project require anchor bolts of any kind, or any other type of fastener, give one of our highly skilled team members a call, and we will be happy to assist.
