NFL Survivor Pool

8th Annual NFL Survivor Pool
Registration deadline is September 4th.
Compete against over 600 participants for a chance to win gift cards and prizes totaling more than $600!

Fall is in the air, and that means football is right around the corner. It also means that it’s time to enter Portland Bolt’s 8th annual NFL Survivor Pool. Whether you’re a hard-core football fan, or a casual follower of the pigskin phenomena, it’s easy to play, and you’ll have an opportunity at winning the grand prize, a $250 Amazon card! Second and third place finishers also receive prizes, and we’ll draw three random contestants to receive a prize package as well. Portland Bolt employees are not eligible for prizes, but are certainly competing for bragging rights. Feel free to give a friendly verbal jab to your sales representative while you watch them be eliminated as you inch closer to the grand prize!
The game couldn’t be simpler to play. Just select one NFL team each week to win, and if that team wins, you advance to the next week. As the season goes on, things get a little more challenging though, because you can only choose each team once. There are no mulligans this season, one strike and you’re out!!

The deadline to enter is Thursday, September 4 at 8:30 PM ET. Sign up and see the rest of the prizes and rules here. Good luck!

Maple Highlands Trail Bridge

maple-highlands-trai-0Geauga County, Ohio

The completion of the 20 mile Maple Highlands Trail required a new bridge to span the East Branch of the Cuyahoga River in Geauga County, Ohio. In September of 2013, the new Maple Highlands Trail Bridge was completed and earned the 2013 Ohio Parks and Recreation Association Governor’s Award. This new 70-foot-long Pratt Truss-style covered bridge features one-of-a-kind architectural details.

Portland Bolt’s 85,000 square foot manufacturing and galvanizing facility possesses the complete capabilities required to manufacture the hex bolts, lag screws, timber bolts, timber spikes, and high strength threaded rods required for this project. Learn more.

Even though our facility in Portland, Oregon is located 2,500 miles away from the job site, we were able to deliver the required fasteners both quickly and competitively. If you think we are too far away, let us prove otherwise.  View our interactive Shipment Destination Map to see where we have shipped recently.

What does “FOB” mean?

According to the Incoterms 2010 standard which is published by the International Chamber of Commerce, the acronym “FOB” stands for “free on board.” In the US, this acronym “FOB” is commonly used when shipping goods to acknowledge who is responsible for the costs associated with loading, transporting, and/or the point at which the ownership of the goods transfers from the shipper to the buyer. Learn more.
