Eireann Govern

Eireann joined the Portland Bolt team in May 2025 following the sale of her company, Bennett Bolt Works, Inc.  She has been involved in the fastener industry since childhood and returned to the family business in 1994 to develop a deep, hands-on understanding of the industry.  Eireann assumed ownership of the company in 2010 upon her father’s retirement and successfully led the business until its acquisition.

Eireann holds a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from SUNY Oswego and a Master of Business Administration from Syracuse University, where she was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma.  She also studied at Katharine Gibbs Business School and Montclair State College.  Earlier in her career, she worked at Lockheed IMS as Administrative Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer and as a Meeting Planner, where she was part of the team involved in the design of the EZ-Pass system and the Boot.

Born and raised in Jordan, New York, Eireann has lived in Miami, Florida, and New Jersey, and now resides in Skaneateles, New York. She and her husband, Patrick, enjoy spending time on the lake with their families.
