We’ve Expanded Our Southeast Facility!

We’re excited to share some big news from our team at Portland Bolt! Our Southeast manufacturing facility in North Augusta, South Carolina, has officially completed a major expansion,  growing from 25,000 sq ft to 62,500 sq ft. You may read the full press release on our website.

What This Means for You

This upgraded space allows us to:

  • Utilize our new state-of-the-art hot-dip galvanizing line, now available for both Portland Bolt products and customer-supplied parts.
  • Increase our cut-threading capabilities up to 2-1/2″ diameter.
  • Offer bending and welding services, giving customers a complete suite of manufacturing solutions in one place.
  • Improve lead times, expand rush-order options, shorten transit times, and strengthen our East Coast coverage.

Hot-Dip Galvanizing

The expansion includes a state-of-the-art hot-dip galvanizing line designed to provide consistent, high-quality corrosion protection for Portland Bolt’s manufactured products. This new line not only enhances our internal production capabilities but also allows us to offer hot-dip galvanizing as a service for external partners across a wide range of industries, including construction, infrastructure, fabrication, utilities, and transportation. With increased capacity, improved efficiency, and greater process control, the new system ensures faster turnaround times and reliable results for both our own fasteners and customer-supplied parts.

Southeast Galvanizing Services

A Message From Our Leadership

Blake Ray - CEO

“This expansion helps us respond faster and deliver the level of quality and service our customers count on,” said Blake Ray, CEO of Portland Bolt. “We’re excited about what this means for the projects and partners we support.”

More Capacity. More Capability. Same Portland Bolt Quality.

This expansion strengthens our long-term commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing and brings us even closer to the customers we serve throughout the Southeast and beyond. With our in-house hot-dip galvanizing line—the only one operated by a bolt manufacturer in the Southeast region—and increased production capacity, we’re better equipped than ever to deliver fast, high-performance fastener solutions for infrastructure, construction, industrial projects, and more. And with Portland Bolt now shipping to over 25 countries annually, this investment positions us to support projects across the globe with the quality and reliability you expect.

Thanks for being part of our community—we’re excited for everything this expanded facility will help us build together.
