Derek worked as an estimator with Portland Bolt from 2004 to 2006. After subsequently spending several years as a municipal building inspector, Derek was proud to rejoin the Portland Bolt team in 2010. He is married with a son and daughter and enjoys spending time exploring the northwest with his wife and kids.
