All Thread Rod
All thread rod, commonly referred to as fully threaded rod, redi-rod, continuously threaded rod, and abbreviated ATR is used for general purpose fastening for anything from an anchor bolt to a through bolt. A variety of grades and materials are available including stainless steel.
For high strength fasteners, one cannot simply substitute all thread rod for a headed bolt without a significant loss in strength. To learn why you may assume a tremendous amount of liability by making such a substitution, check out Headed Anchor Bolts vs. Rod with a Nut.
Manufacturing
Portland Bolt will cut and chamfer sock all thread rod to your specified lengths. The processed rods are provided either plain finish or can be run through our galvanizing line. If you need all thread rod in a different grade or rod that is larger in diameter or longer than listed below, Portland Bolt will thread it to meet your requirements.
