Pilar Maté recently joined Portland Bolt and Applied Bolting Technology to support the Latin America and Caribbean region. Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, Pilar moved to the United States in 1993 after graduating with a degree in International Business Administration.

Her professional background combines project management in financial services with international business development, bringing a global perspective and strong relationship-building experience to her role. Pilar is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and also speaks intermediate French. She currently resides in Miami with her husband and youngest daughter, Violeta. Outside of work, Pilar is an active volunteer in the children’s ministry at Restoration Church in Homestead, Florida.
