In the summer of 2019, Portland Bolt supplied anchor bolts for The District in El Segundo for a 30-acre creative office and industrial space with four buildings totaling 550,000 square feet. Previously an aerospace manufacturing facility, it has been repurposed to include some of the previous architectural touches including 50’ ceiling, catwalks, and railway corridors.
Over the course of three orders, Portland Bolt provided almost 10,000 lbs. of high strength F1554 Grade 105 anchor bolts in numerous different sizes. The parts were made entirely in-house in our 140,000 square foot facility. That means we used our new Hydmech band saws to cut the bolts to length and our Landis cut threaders to thread each end. All of the bolts were packaged with the proper nuts and shipped on time to our customer.
