Kihei, Maui, HI, USA

In August, 2017, members of the Kihei Community Association broke ground on the first gymnasium to be built on the island in 20 years.  The $20 million project will provide South Maui with its first-ever gymnasium which will act as a community center for the area.  The project is scheduled to be completed by December, 2018.  The facility will be 33,000 sq. feet and will provide seating for approximately 2,000 people.  There will be two main courts, four cross courts along with meeting rooms, locker facilities and a kitchen.  The complex as a whole will be a 44-acre community park.

When the contractor realized the project required custom, galvanized anchor bolts, they knew to call Portland Bolt.  With our 140,000 square foot manufacturing facility and in-house hot-dip galvanizing line, we were able to manufacture the anchor bolts in a quick time frame per the contractor’s schedule.  Portland Bolt has manufactured fasteners for many projects on the Hawaiian Islands.  With our close proximity to the Port of Portland, we are able to ship orders on barges or via air freight easily making us a primary source for nonstandard anchor bolts on Hawaiian construction projects.  No place is too remote for Portland Bolt.  Do you have a project that requires custom anchor bolts?  Give Portland Bolt a call; our estimators are standing by to assist you with your fastener needs.
