Portland Bolt has been called on to provide parts for tens of thousands of different projects, some as “simple” as a treehouse and some as complicated as the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment. Most of our projects fall somewhere in the middle, such as in the summer of 2020 when we helped with the J. Riley Distillery & Restaurant.
Portland Bolt was asked to provide tie-rod assemblies that provided both function and form. The project owners were looking for an aesthetic design that had an industrial look but wasn’t willing to sacrifice construction standards. We provided high strength A449 rods in the assemblies to do exactly that.
When deadlines on the project shifted, Portland Bolt was able to offer accelerated rush lead times to help keep the project on time and under budget.
