Seaside Heights, NJ, United States

In summer of 2013, Portland Bolt was called upon to deliver some 2-1/4 x 9 galvanized A449 hex headed bolts to replace some worn bolts on The Skyscraper ride on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk at Casio Pier after much of the boardwalk and many of the rides were damaged in October of 2012 from the devastating Superstorm Hurricane Sandy.

We were able to rush these bolts which had to be cut to length, headed, heat treated, tested, threaded, and hot dip galvanized in 12 working days to meet the contractor’s demanding schedule due to the boardwalk’s reopening ceremony. With all of our manufacturing capabilities in house, we were able to perform all processes except the heat treating and ensure that we were on schedule with our computerized tracking system. It does not matter where your job is located. Portland Bolt frequently delivers faster than any other manufacturer to your job site with our 102 years of experience and complete manufacturing capabilities.
