Started in 1989 by two women, Lost Coast Brewery, a company known for its award-winning microbrews, had outgrown its current brewery operations in an old warehouse in Eureka, California. In 2013 the company was able to break ground on a new 55,000 square foot brewery. The contractor performing the construction of the new brewery contacted Portland Bolt for the anchor bolts required by the project.
Portland Bolt manufactured over four hundred ASTM F1554 Grade 36 and Grade 105 headed anchor bolt assemblies complete with washers and nuts, and had them delivered and on site for the contractor in less than 3 weeks!
When complete, the new brewery will have a 600,000 barrel per year brewing capacity and will also feature new fermenters, a bottling line, a store, and a German themed brew house and tasting area.
