Public School 56, Norwood Heights, is a Kindergarten-5th Grade institution in the Bronx School District in Bronx, New York. The school enrolled 690 students in the 2015-2016 school year. In early 2015 Portland Bolt supplied several types of hardware for renovations at PS 56. These included custom stainless steel tie-rod assemblies and A325 load-indicating washers. Stainless steel tie-rod assemblies are not readily available in the marketplace, especially with the left and right hand threads necessary to develop the proper tension. Portland Bolt’s experience with these custom materials can easily bridge the distance between the coasts.
