Minam, Oregon is a small community located in Northeast Oregon about 20 miles from the larger city of La Grande. The Minam River and the Wallowa River meet there in the Minam State Recreation Area.
In the summer of 2015, Little Minam Bridge required a number of custom, domestic materials. Portland Bolt supplied these custom timber bolts, hex lag screws, drift pins, and all thread rod pieces in a variety of diameters and lengths. Some of the hardware included split rings, malleable iron washers, nuts, and custom plate washers. These materials not only had a domestic requirement, but also were required to be hot-dip galvanized. Portland Bolt has our own hot-dip galvanizing line in house and a number of domestic hardware options to be an great supplier for projects like the Little Minam Bridge.
